CNN —There are plenty of reasons why many health professionals don’t want you on a restrictive diet. But how do you know when a diet is restrictive or when you are just making choices with health or longevity in mind? In those cases that aren’t as clear-cut, here are three questions to ask yourself about your diet, Rollin and Mokari said. Feeling as if you can’t control yourself around particular foods might be a sign that you are being too restrictive in your diet, Rollin said. And that can be physically restrictive by not allowing yourself to eat the food or mentally restrictive by shaming yourself while eating it and afterward, she said.

It was 20 years of an eating disorder and the anxiety and stress that comes with it culminating into one moment, he said. But clinicians are seeing a rise in orthorexia among patients, said therapist Jennifer Rollin, founder of The Eating Disorder Center in Rockville, Maryland. Orthorexia is a fixation on eating “clean,” as defined by a set of rules dependent on certain individuals and the context they live in, said Dr. Jennifer Gaudiani, an eating disorder physician and founder and medical director of the Gaudiani Clinic in Denver. When looking at therapy, check for not only an eating disorder specialist, but one with experience with orthorexia, Rollin said. People with orthorexia may find themselves with a team that includes therapists and dietitians, similar to patients in treatment for other eating disorders, Rollin said.

The National Transportation Safety Board on Wednesday released more than 2,000 pages of interviews, transcripts, air traffic control recordings, and flight track data it has collected on the February 4 incident. The crew of the landing FedEx aircraft, a 767 cargo jet with three crew members onboard, told investigators the plane was on autopilot for the approach into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Concurrently, the FedEx crew aborted their landing. “Rollin now,” the Southwest crew replied, according to a transcript of the radio exchanges published by the NTSB. Betty Rollin, a network news correspondent who described intensely personal life passages in two memoirs — “First, You Cry,” about being diagnosed with breast cancer and having a mastectomy, and “Last Wish,” in which she revealed that she had helped her pain-ravaged mother end her life — died on Nov. 14 in Basel, Switzerland. She was 87. The cause was voluntary assisted suicide, at Pegasos, an assisted dying service, said Ellen Marson, a close friend, who disclosed the death to The New York Times on Thursday. A Mississippi football player is suing coach Lane Kiffin and the school for racial and sexual discrimination and negligence, saying he was kicked off the team during a mental health crisis.
